The party:
This elegant evening marks the debut of the Idea Garden at Colonial Lake, a concept created by the Conservancy to inspire gardeners to transform environmental challenges into beautiful landscapes.
The evening will kick off with a champagne toast and remarks by Idea Garden designer, Molly Hendry, then guests will be among the first to explore the newly completed Idea Garden. The all-inclusive experience includes hors d’oeuvres and beverages, beautiful décor and lounge areas, and stunning floral installations.
The event will feature a live performance by the Charleston Symphony ensemble, a rare plant auction led by Ryan McEnaney, author, designer, and influencer, and the opportunity to mingle with some of Bloom Charleston’s esteemed festival speakers.
Special guests include Molly Hendry, designer of the 2025 Idea Garden; Lucy the Flower Hunter, renowned floral and garden artist; Miranda Crowell, Garden Editor at Better Homes & Gardens; and Michael Perry, AKA Mr. Plant Geek, “hortpreneur” and content creator. These horticultural visionaries are traveling from around the globe to join in the celebration of this landmark project.
